Our Burn

The burn forms a natural feature of Deeside Dog Park and is part of what makes the park such a special setting for dogs to explore.

As with any natural waterway, we must all be aware of the potential risks and take appropriate care when using the park.

Please take a few minutes to read the information below and read our Terms & Conditions in full, including the Water Safety section, before making your booking.

Keeping Everyone Safe

The burn is a natural watercourse and conditions can change. Water depth and flow may vary, particularly following periods of heavy rainfall, and the banks, rocks and waterbed may be slippery, uneven or unstable.

  • Dogs may access the burn at their owner's discretion, but should be closely supervised.
  • The burn is not visible from all areas of the park, so dogs and children must remain within the visual sight of the supervising adult at all times.
  • Children must be supervised by a responsible adult throughout their visit.
  • A maximum of 3 children may be supervised by one responsible adult.
  • Adults and children must not enter the burn or watercourse at any time.
  • Please take extra care around the bridge and vehicle crossing point.
